Good stay

This place is amazing just like in the pictures. The water is literally right outside your window. The host is super friendly, fast to respond, any questions, any help with anything he was there to answer and take care of it right away. Definitely worth the price. The kitchen is full equipped, I had trouble turning on the stove because is tricky since is gas stove, reported the issue they sent someone to help me ASAP. I was cooking right away. The only thing is the water has a weird smell to it. But i understand that the DR sewer system is weird. That’s something that can be improve, and seem how Vasiliy was a host I’m pretty sure he will definitely take care that. Definitely recommend this place is awesome, 5+++++ stars!!!

This place was great! Steps from the beach, secure gated community, yet still close to local markets, restaurants, and shopping. Check in and check out were a breeze. The apartment is stylish and comfortable with many little extra touches that make you feel at home. Varsiliy and Anna really went above and beyond to organize so many things for us during our trip. If we needed anything they responded and took care of it very quickly. I can not say enough good things of our experience here. We were a little nervous about the charge for electricity at first, but even with the AC on the rate was surprisingly low! If this is your first time to the DR take advantage of all the inside tips that Varsiliy and Anna can provide!

Amazing place, really close to the beach and restaurants!

This is directly on the beach and within easy walking distance to many bars and restaurants. A very cute area where you can enjoy the beach and also get away from some of the bigger resorts. The apartment is comfortable and Vasiliy is extremely responsive for whatever you need. Anna, who helps to host, is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

Nice cozy beach getaway

Awesome stay! Right on the beach! Vasiliy was super quick with responses and very helpful! His assistant Alex was great in helping us check in and out! We loved the place and enjoyed the small grill out on the porch! Would definitely love to come back soon!

Vasiliy is the greatest host! He is extremely responsive and goes out of his way to help you with anything you need. This place is amazing! It is right on the beach, which feels like a private beach with reserved chairs and umbrellas, and the sea just feet away from you; nothing like the overcrowded all-inclusive resorts. And you can always pop back to the fridge for a cold beer:) We didn't use the onsite facilities for cooking but they are available, and there are plenty of restaurants around. There are also security guards everywhere so it feels very safe. Thank you Vasiliy for providing us with the place for a wonderful vacation!

We were very pleased with this beach-side apartment. Everything was just as it was described on the website and functioned as needed. The beach was beautiful and peaceful. The town was interesting and provided lots of dining and shopping options within walking distance. The host provided good recommendations and assistance with booking excursions.

Adoramos a localização, é o ponto forte aqui! O apartamento precisa de alguns reparos que já informei ao Vasiliy (chuveiro ruim, pequeno vazamento no chão da cozinha, os ventiladores de teto não ventilam bem, pouca iluminação), creio que ele irá resolver a maioria destes problemas. Ainda assim, passamos ótimos dias. A praia é excelente, acordar cedo e assistir o nascer do sol é um show a parte. Restaurantes próximos (alguns dentro do condomínio), mercado e farmácia numa caminhada de 10 minutos, fizemos tudo a pé! No início ficamos um pouco decepcionados pois as fotos não condizem com a realidade atual do apartamento, mas não estragou de forma alguma, pois os pontos fortes prevaleceram: Localização, cadeiras e guarda-sóis sempre disponíveis, toalhas limpas, água mineral e itens básicos de cozinha, etc.

The location is exactly as it appears in the photos. The little patio outside of the sliding doors is like twenty feet from the beach and the pictures you see of the beach are exactly what you get. It's beautiful right there! We arrived by taxi and our driver and several people he stopped to ask, could not get us (Website hidden by Airbnb) you might want to clarify with Vasiliy as the address alone made no sense to anyone. We eventually got dropped off at Hurricane Cafe because we knew that was nearby. We then grabbed some lunch there and then walked down the beach until we saw our place. Vasiliy had one of his assistant's meet us at the place for check-in, but we were given the wrong # so we couldn't get a hold of him to coordinate a check-in time. We eventually were able to reach Vasiliy and he got in touch with the guy and the guy was great, but it was kind of stressful there for a while. Other than (Website hidden by Airbnb) a pretty cool place. The photos are well representative of the inside as well - it's clean but not fancy. We had a lot of mosquitos but we also had the door open a lot so could have been our own fault. As for the surroundings, you walk up the single street about 1/4 mile or less and there's a market, restaurant and bars - all the food there was great! The ATM is like 3 miles away though and many places only take cash so keep that in mind.

For the price, you absolutely cannot beat the location. The space was clean, and although the pictures are accurate, it wasn't quite as nice as we thought it would be. A few small investments in the property could make this place truly perfect. We really enjoyed the walkability to everything and of course the magnificent beach which was 10 feet from our door. Our most memorable part of the stay was the beach stroll to Jellyfish and the excellent meal we enjoyed there!

Loved the stay. Sad we only got to stay 1 night but I will definitely stay in one of Vasiliy’s properties again when I return to Punta Cana. Communication was excellent, the transportation we booked through Vasiliy was prompt and friendly, space was clean, perfect location and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing I would note for improvement is that I’m a single female and often travel alone. The location of the apartment is in a safe area I feel but I’d still be nervous with the only lock being the one on the door handle. But like I said, I feel like it’s a safe area of town and was never scared for my safety but I had travel partners this trip.

The location was perfect and Vasiliy, Alex and crew were very responsive to our needs (extra water, transportation). The beach was beautiful and we were close to grocery stores and a number of restaurants. During our visit, we went an a day excursion with a Dominican guy named Chio. He had a small white and blue boat that read ‘glass bottom’ on the sides that he anchored near the apartment most days. We had the most wonderful time with Chio! He took us out snorkeling and to an uninhabited section of the beach where he CLIMBED a palm tree to get us coconuts. He also took us to the natural pool. It was the best $50 I spent all trip. He was a very nice guy. It was arranged through the small company next to this apartment (the orange shirt guys) but if you can work directly with Chio, he’ll make more well deserved money. We actually paid him more than requested bc we wanted to make sure he got a fair deal.

The location is excellent (close to restaurants and with a nice beach), and the hosts are very responsive. They'll help you with any issue promptly. We had an issue with cable tv, and the shower and Vasiliy and his team fixed the problem very fast. The apartment is fine, but there are some things that could be improved to make your stay better. There is a heavy sewage odor in the bathroom and second room, maybe providing some odor eliminating products could help to decrease the smell. The kitchen is not so well equipped and the stove a bit complicated to use. If you are allergic to mosquito bites, get a good repellent (30% deet or so) because there are many mosquitos.

Perfect location, just a few meters from the beach. You do not even have to put on flipflops to go there. Also very close to all the nice restaurants and bars in that area. Vasiliy and Anna were always responding immediately to any kind of request, even the last minute late check-out request. Thanks again!

Fabulous location!!!

Vasiliy’s place is as advertised. It took some trying to figure out the stove but mastered it. Beach access was great and we could have been fine without a car. We love to golf but it’s too expensive on this island. We loved the hands off approach to this place and Dominican overall. Some islands pair you with a housekeeper or maid. This place was clean and no one was there to disturb our privacy. Vasiliy responded quickly to every inquiry. While there Alex and Nico were equally responsive and friendly. Thank you!

True to description and great location.

Cons: The apartment is right on the beach. Vasiliy, Alex, and Ana are very nice and accommodative. The host replied promptly. The beach is excellent! The apartment is super safe. Pros: We thought this was the front apartment unit on the picture, actually, it is not the front one. It is the one by the side. The water from all taps was salty, we asked our host, and he said that is normal since the apartment is right on the beach. It was not easy to get used to the salty water for us.

The location of this condo is great. Steps to the beach and walking distance to some great restaurants and fun places. Vasilly was very helpful and responsive. The place does a have a slight odor but not due to cleanliness- the place is very clean. It is from the outdoors. Just suggest you bring an air freshner if you have a sensitive nose. Otherwise it was awesome.

Vasiliy's apartment complex is a great alternative to staying in a resort - it's literally a 2 minute walk from the Larimar and shares the same beach. If you don't care about some of the resort amenities you'd otherwise have, you can save yourself a pretty penny and still have prime location. There are great restaurants (check out Citrus - amazing) and bars all within walking distance. The apartment was a bit darker than the photos, but we didn't mind as you don't spend much time there! The two downsides I'd note are that the noise can be quite loud at night - the walls are very thin, and there was a bit of a smell in the bathroom/second bedroom.
