Unique Private Vacation – Turquesa & Barcelo Beach

Vasiliy is an incredible host! We had to change our reservation twice and both times he accommodated our request without any issues. He was very responsive to all my questions giving me more than enough information before we arrived. He also set up all our transportation to and from the airport and around punta Cana during our stay. The apartment itself is nice, but if you're looking for a resort like stay this isn't it. We were a group of 7 girls and we needed someplace we could all be together so it worked for us, especially with the penthouse deck on top! There is only AC in the bedrooms not in the living room, and you can't put toilet paper down the toilet so that is definitely something to consider. You are walking distance to anything you would need such as restaurants, souvenir shops and markets and a few bakery's. Definitely checkout citrus, te amo, and then the bakery next to the fruit stand down the road. The beach is also 30 seconds down the road and canoa is a great bar/restaurant to hangout at for the day with lounge chairs. Every plumbing/water issue we had was quickly resolved by Vasiliy and his team, Vasiliy is great and I would definitely book with him again!

Vasiliy and his team truly strive to provide excellent service and truly care about their guests experience. We were met by Alex who does a phenomenal job with coordinating and communicating with you throughout the trip. The space itself is beautiful and exactly as advertised. I will stay with Vasiliy in the future!

Stay at Vasiliy’s place was great. It’s not our first time in Punta Cana, but each time we choose Vasiliy and his team as they truly understand hospitality and their guests’ needs. Their attention to details and devotion to their work is incredible. I’m grateful to Vasiliy for the time he spent with us, he showed us some beautiful local spots, organized our transportation. The place is as described. Location is great, we enjoyed some restaurants that are 2-5 minutes away. The view from the rooftop is incredible especially at sunsets. Every time we are not even slightest disappointed. Felt at home and safe. Make sure to bring cash with you and do not book excursions from strange people on the beach. If you need help with it just ask Vasiliy, at least he can provide the best guidance and help you avoid cheating. We will be back in the summer and will choose one of Vasiliy’s properties to stay at. That says it all.

This place is as beautiful as the pictures and in a perfect location. Their were 6 of us all together. We decided on a Villa rather than a resort because we wanted the authentic Dominican experience and that is exactly what we got. The villa is located 2 mins walking distance from the beach, and not even a 5 minute walk to restaurants, and markets. Alex, whom check us in, was AMAZING! He was so helpful with giving us all the information we needed during our stay, to booking our excursions, and giving us tips on the best restaurants and clubs to go too. We did two excursions; Saona and the Boogies. I highly recommend both! They are awesome and so so much fun. Alex recommended the restaurant at the corner of the street for authentic dominican food. We also tried Wacamole, Don Pio, and Dalias's, all of which had great food. Vasiliy was very easy to communicate with even before the trip. He answers all your questions and very quickly. He was able to arrange transportation for us to and from the airport. We celebrated our friends birthday while we were there, and we were afraid we weren't going to be able to get a cake for her, however thanks to Vasiliy he was able to get a Dominican Cake ordered and delivered to the Villa the day of her birthday! My friend had no idea and was so surprised. We checked out IMAGINE night club!! Best experience if you love drinks and music. It was so cool to party inside a cave! Although it rained most of the time we were there, we had a great first time in Punta Cana! Our experience was even better because of Vasiliy and Alex! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! We can't wait to check out one of the many villas Vasiliy has in Punta Cana! Thank you again so much for everything Alex & Vasiliy, you guys helped our first time in DR an unforgettable one.

I stayed at the penthouse with six of my friends and had a great time! The location was wonderful - a minute walk to the beach and right around the corner from restaurants, a pharmacy, and supermarket. Definitely would stay here again!

Vasiliy and Alex are great hosts. They keep good communication and try to help you. What can I say?.. The air conditioner in one room didn't work during our stay but Vasiliy promptly kept sending techs over to try to fix it. But it wasn't so terribly hot thanks to the ceiling fans that are in every room. The place is big and well equipped just as advertised. And just as mentioned by other reviewers it not a place for TRUE peace and quiet. The neighbors are all there to have fun with friends and family, and others to party all night. So expect loud music. Too bad we couldn't do the same because the big speaker that's in the second floor is old and only plays if you have a flash drive or an old iPod. No Aux cable or Bluetooth. That was disappointing for us that wanted to dance. However if none of this bothers you then I recommend you staying here. It has a great location in walking distance to good restaurants and the beach. Every restaurant Alex recommended did not disappoint and were delicious, they know their stuff so just ask him or Vasiliy. There are more positive things to this condo than negatives so don't over-think it, I'm just letting others know what to expect.

Vasiliy was so helpful when we had to move our dates. The communication throughout the booking and stay was fantastic. This place is so close to the beach and walking distance to several restaurants and a grocery store. Something I really liked is that the section of the beach close to the apartment was away from the resorts, which made it quieter than other sections we walked through - we LOVED that! It was exactly what we needed for a group of friends wanting to relax for a few days. When we needed anything, they were happy and willing to help immediately. We enjoyed our stay very much and everyone we interacted with was very nice. Thank you for everything!

Vasiliy and his company were fantastic hosts! They were very responsive when we were in DR and helped us with car service last minute in the evening! Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

There were five of us girls in our mid to late 30's and we were very pleased with the condo. It was clean and the manager, Alex, was attentive and very informative. It is a HUGE help that drinking water is provided and the market along with many restaurants are literally around the corner. The walk to the beach is literally steps away and if you buy drinks/food at Canoa right there on the corner you can stay in their lounge chairs all day if you want. We also set up our Saona excursion through Alex and that was a breeze and more reliable than booking it through a beach vendor. I feel that Vasiliy described the property with extreme accuracy so we didn't have any surprises. He provides EVERYTHING you need to know about the condo in the description. My friends and I all agreed we would definitely stay there again.

It was a fantastic stay. Alex, the room manager was very welcoming. I felt like royalty and my girlfriend enjoyed her Christmas gift to the limit. The second floor was so much fun that we enjoyed a small view of the ocean, a sunrise, and a late 2 person party. I would start this is a perfect spot for a party of sorts but for a couple it was so nice to have all the space and amenities. I love this host and his company. Please stay with him!

Las habitaciones aseadas como así también los baños.. La señal wifi rápida y detalles como dejar un snack de bienvenida, aguas y cosas en la alacena marcan la diferencia con otros lugares que he visitado.. MUCHAS GRACIAS CHICOS!!

My husband and I booked this location for a 3 night stay in December 2016. While Vasiliy and Alex we're very nice and quick to respond, we decided not to stay here once we arrived and booked a hotel instead. Overall, the house is as pictured but when seen in person, you can clearly see the wear and tear of large groups staying here. The bathrooms and showers were not ideal and had a unpleasant odor. The "queen" beds are two twin mattress pushed together. The pool did not look enticing with just a few old chairs lined outside. You could also see and hear construction workers from the bedroom windows - again, not ideal. When we arrived, loud music was playing from the property across the street. Perhaps this is not common but it did turn us off. We also noticed cans of RAID outside the locked storage closet, leading us to believe we may need to use it. After we toured the property, we decided to walk down to the beach to see if this could be our "saving grace" to just stay here but we also found the beach to be an eye sore with huge sand bag pillars set in the ocean which hindered the view. All of these things combined, led us to make the decision to book a hotel elsewhere. As a couple, we were looking for VIP amenities, relaxation, clean, comfortable accommodations. This property is much more suited to large groups looking to party and just have a good time. Not ideal for a couple at all. Vasiliy and Alex were very understanding. Many of these things were out of their control. This was just not what we had envisioned.

Wow! What a great experience! Vasilily communicated with us every step of our trip from arrival till the time we left the Dominican Republic. After chatting with him I can tell he takes a lot of pride in delivering a 5 star experience to his guests. From transportation to excursions he will take care of everything. Just relax and have a good time!

Just returned to Michigan after an 8 day visit to Vasiliy ' Punta Cana penthouse. We are so glad that we did not do the 'safe' thing and book at one of the resorts. This was our first time visiting and even though we had very little knowledge of spanish language and culture, we really felt that we were experiencing Punta Cana. Alex, Vasiliys assistant went above and beyond to help us book excursions with trusted guides and was always available if we needed help with language or even finding an atm. The penthouse was just as described. Beautiful, spacious, and clean. The location was perfect as well. It was a short walk to the best restaurants and shops. Walking to the right of the condo, you will find Canoa, a beach front bar/cafe where they make an amazing coco loco, fresh juices, and cocktails. We were able to sit in beach lounges while sipping from coconuts. The beach and water were amazing, never crowded . to the left of the condo, there are lots of great places to eat. No dinner reservation required! Our favorite place was Wacamole. The ceviche was delish and people there welcomed us like family. We made memories and friends. We are already planning our next visit. Can't wait to come back and visit again!

Our family stayed in Vasiliy's apartment for five days in november 2016. Vasiliy and his family is the best hosts you can posibly imagine! They Are super helpfull with everything as it comes to questions about the arpartment during your stay, but they also takes the extra time to help you with the local surroundings, attractions, transport, good places to eat and negotiations with the locals. He further more drove us all the way to Las Terranas while taking the time to stop and show us the most beautiful attractions along the road. The location of the apartment was absolutely perfect with the beautiful carribean white beach and in secure surroundings. The only thing(which was out of their hands) was some loud music from the neighbours during the first two days, but when they left it was a queit beautiful paradise. And also, dont forget to eat some brunch on the upper balcony, wow! Deffinatley recommendable for everyone!

Vasiliy and his team did an exceptional job of making us feel welcome. He or one of his team were extremely responsive to any need or request. The only issues that detracted from our enjoyment of the stay are matters that are totally out of their control (nearby lots overgrown and covered in garbage, poor street lighting, aggressive sales by local transporters). The penthouse is is three floors up in the building and provides a nice view of the surrounding area. The bedroom air conditioners made otherwise uncomfortable heat and humidity very comfortable and the additional expense was very reasonable. Every restaurant we visited in the immediate area was very good with reasonable prices. A convenient market has most items desired for cooking small meals. Since we were looking for a place to rest and relax, I believe we made an excellent choice.
