Excellent location and I would advise doing your activities through Vasiliy as well - it makes things so much easier. Yulia, who was looking after us, made this a 5 star experience as she was so attentive and responsive. There were some issues with the internal electrics (rather than the power cuts that will sometimes happen in DR without warning!) that needed to be sorted, but otherwise a really lovely stay.

Great place right on the beach! The unit was more than big enough for me and my guest. The roof top was a nice bonus to relax at the start and end my day. What I got for the price of the unit was amazing. The team was also extremely helpful during my stay with getting me a car, helping plan out places to go and they were quick to respond to any questions I had. It was so nice to know I had someone I could reach out to anytime. Highly recommend this place for its size, price and the ease of communication with the owners.

Forget the resorts if your looking for a true Punta Cana experience. Immerse yourselves in the much more local environment while keeping the amenities you continue to want....great dining, wonderful beaches, and a plethora of adventures and excursions all within walking distance. Top it all off with wonderfully thoughtful and responsive hosts and you have a vacation made with memories for a lifetime!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. Vasiliy and Anna are by far the best hosts I’ve met traveling with Airbnb. The team is there to help you with whatever you need. Whether it is transportation, excursions, or just showing you the area. It’s a 30 second walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the restaurants. If your considering traveling to the Bavaro Beach, do it. Skip the resorts and get the real experience.

You will love the location and access to the beach

Loved Vasiliy’s place, everything is as seen in the pictures, cant get any closer to the beach. I Would recommend this place over a resort or hotel. You get a feel for the place, very nice locals, bars and restaurants all within close walking distance. Anna the assistant was a life saver. If you need any suggestions or questions, she answers right away. Booked all my activities through them as well so everything was as easy as could be. will def be back to vasiliy’s properties.

We had a wonderful 2-day stay here. The home is in a gated community that felt safe and had security present. There were restaurants and shops within walking distance, some even within the gated complex. When we left the complex to walk to local restaurants and shops we remained aware of our surroundings, but never felt unsafe. As a vegan, this ended up being the perfect location to stay in Punta Cana as there were several vegan dining options (including a completely vegan restaurant) within close walking distance (Ama Luna, Joy's Nutritional Popsicles, and Wacamole). The home was well maintained, comfortable and attractive, and had good amenities. Safe drinking water is provided in a water dispenser. The rooftop deck is spacious and a great place to hang-out. Some things to be aware of are that you are not in a resort and so you should be comfortable with things like the fact that you can't flush your toilet paper, neighbors may be noisy (during our stay tourists renting the large house across from us had hired a DJ who played music at a high volume from about noon until 1am each day. It made relaxation on the rooftop deck difficult, but when we closed the door to the bedroom we couldn't hear the music), and people will try to sell you things on the beach and when you walk around town. The apartment is up several flights of stairs with no elevator access, so people with mobility issues should keep that in mind. Also, if you have small children there is a stairwell within the apartment that doesn't have a railing. The beach is right there and lounge chairs and shade umbrellas are included. You will find a lot of sea grass/ sea weed on the beach and in the water, but my understanding is that this is the case on all Dominican beaches unless staying in a resort where they remove it daily. At the end of your stay, you pay for your electricity use. We paid $15 for our 2-days. We used air conditioning when we were in in the apartment and it seemed like a reasonable fee. Anna met us at the apartment for check-in and check-out. She was friendly, gave us a lot of helpful information and recommendations, arranged transportation for us for check-out, and made sure that we knew how to contact her if any issues arose during our stay. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the opportunity to stay outside of a resort for a portion of our trip. We would highly recommend this place, just make sure that you are realistically prepared and not expecting a resort and/or American infrastructure and plumbing.

You can’t get closer to the beach! Worth renting

Right on the beach. Very friendly atmosphere. Lots of shopping and eating in the area. Very nice relaxing vacation.

This place is exactly as shown. Tonny was very easy to communicate with. She was very responsive, ready to help with any outside bookings and was able to inform us with all the information we needed to know about our surrounding area. She’s was able to book our rides from our hotel in Santo Domingo to the apartment directly and then again to the airport. Showed us the restaurant and which grocery stores to shop at. Showed us to our room and gave us a thorough run down of the apartment and the roof Terrance upstairs. Everything in the apartment worked fine for us. We made dinner in the kitchen one night. However, we didnt use the bbq upstairs but it looked like it was the in pretty good shape still. AC worked in living room and bedroom. TV worked fine. Nice bedroom shower. Bed mattress was fine. Clean linens. Couldn’t really ask for a better location. Beautiful views, amazing beach takes all about 30 seconds to walk to the water from front door. Restaurants about 2 min walk maybe. Grocery stores, more bar restaurants, a few stores for a little shopping and businesses where you can book awesome tours to do. All in all great safe place! Would not hesitate to rebook and definitely recommend to anyone planning on staying in the area.

Great place. Absolutely the best location for the best beach and great neighborhood . Only a short walk to anything you will need.

This apartment was great and Vasiliy and team were great hosts. The apartment had a wonder rooftop terrace with cabana beds, sofas and bbq which was a big hit! We enjoyed our stay with Vasiliy!

The apartment was great. Right on the beach no need for flip flops to get to the water. Rooftop setting was nice for star gazing and BBQ. Highly recommend the restaurant called Wacamole and get the crispy pork guacamole. It's on the road heading to the main gate. I found that using your US dollars to pay for everything worked out better than transferring money into local currency at any of the money exchange places. You get a better conversion rate it was about 45-48 pesos to the dollar. Airport wanted to exchange for 38 pesos for the dollar. Enjoy!

Excellent 5 star location steps from a wonderful beach and great restaurants! Loved the local people - very friendly. Great host communications, always a timely response. However, the place itself is maybe a 2 star - was not as clean and luxurious as depicted.

Had a wonderful stay here. They helped us book excursions and find the best local spots to shop and eat.

The location is great. A bit tougher to find at first but it is right one the beach. Everyone was very nice and the location was as pictured.

Our stay at this location was amazing. Vasiliy was very helpful and responsive. Anything we needed, he and his team were there to help. Vasiliy helped plan activities and assisted in providing transportation. This stay was nothing less than great. I’ve really enjoyed my birthday week in the Dominican Republic thanks to Vasiliy and his staff. Will stay at one of Vasiliy’s properties the next time I visit again for sure!

We loved the whole experience. The place was clean, comfortable and close to the white sand beach. ( softest sand I’ve ever felt) amazing view from our balcony. I would recommend to anyone.
