Unique Private Vacation – Turquesa & Barcelo Beach

Anna greeted us early at the property and showed us everything. The beautiful 360 views from the roof top. The large rooms, the patio terrace, and the dining room. It was walking distance to amazing restaurants, and walking distance to the beach.

This place was really amazing. It is exactly as seen in the pictures. I would definitely recommend especially if you have a group of people. The roof top is also really amazing I would come back here again with a group of 8 and do a little party on the roof. The area is also very vibrant and I felt very safe the entire time. So glad we chose this area over Punta Cana Village which is much more subdued. The rooms were very cost and touches like the iron and ironing boards were really appreciated. Alex was also amazing we didn't have to bother him much but he provided great information about dealing with the locals and where to go to enjoy the nightlife. TIPS: Go to the Macao and Drink Point. Also, we rented a car at the airport but had much more fun and felt like we saw more after we got scooters from around the corner to rent.

Apartamento de gran tamaño, posee una terraza inmensa en la parte superior con jacuzzi, parrilla, bar, un tercer nivel con tumbonas para tomar el sol de verdad bastante agradable esta terraza, también posee un gran balcón, en pocas palabras el apartamento es inmenso y esta muy bien cuidado, no me llamó la atención es el edificio donde se encuentra el apartamento me parece desorganizado, algo desordenado, no me género confianza, pero nada de que preocuparse, tiene estacionamiento pero no es fijo la última noche tuve que estacionar afuera, hay un hotel al lado por lo que en las noches entre las 8 y las 10 vas a escuchar música alta si te gusta el ambiente de fiesta esto no será problema, en conclusión tremendo apartamento de gran tamaño tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar un momento agradable, tiene muy buena ubicación, la comunicación fue excelente desde que reservamos el apartamento muy atentos en especial Anna que fue con la que tuvimos contacto

Place was exactly as advertised. Vasiliy and his staff were always available whenever we had to contact them and their response time was excellent. Highly recommend staying with Vasiliy!

El Pethouse es muy amplio y bonito, todo estuvo en orden. La playa queda bien cerca y hay mucho sitios para almorzar. Tambien en el apartamento estan los equipos para cocinar. Recomendado!!

Great location and seem less check in. Plenty to do in the area and beautiful beach. The condo is beautiful and the outside space is above anyplace I have even stayed. The noise from Sunscape is un explainable. If you are looking to come back from dinner and enjoy outside quiet space this place isn’t for you. If you are out later at night and arrive homs after 10:30 it won’t be an issue. The pool isn’t a pool I would ever swim in as it is run down and dirty.

It was a great big place. Very central. Grocery stores, restaurants and everything at walking distance. Quick responses when had confusions. Was very accommodating on our first night when we had 1 extra person for 1 day. Recommended

This property has amazing value. The kitchen and living quarters are already worth the money. Add the rooftop bar (with a great sound system) and jacuzzi, and this place is for sure one of the coolest, high value AirBnBs in the Caribbean.

The location is perfect, literally 2mn walk to the beach and near various restaurants and colmados/mini market. We had issues with water but they quickly fixed it. Communication was great and the place is nice and clean.

The location was a short walk to a nice sandy beach with a couple of yummy little restaurants on it. The Airconditioner’s worked great, they were very cold and the space is a great layout for a family, big or small.

We stayed here for about 4 days, during the week day and at times it was pretty lively at night but not to the point that you wouldn't be able to sleep. The beach is very close but it wasn't as pretty as some of the other beaches we visited during our stay. Restaurants are close within walking distance, we ate at about 3-4 of them, no complaints. There is a sort of "market" around the corner that you can grab a couple of things, kind if like a convenience store really. There was a shopping place about a 10 minute drive, that also had a ATM and I believe a grocery store. Overall I think we were centrally located and close to a lot of things. Our host was great, any questions were answered promptly.

Typically, when reading descriptions on Airbnb, anything that says "two minutes from ____" I take with a grain of salt. But this place is literally a two minute walk from the beach, restaurants, and a small food market. The apartment is on the top floor, so its around four flights of stairs to walk up so be prepared if you have a lot of luggage. It's worth it since the roof shines as the perfect place for hanging out, napping in the hammock, grilling, and just listening to music (stereo system is included and it is LOUD). Overall great stay, host and his assistants are very helpful and respond quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

The space is great. It is a good size with a fully stocked kitchen. The terrace is great with a charcoal bbq. The pictures are accurate and place is neatly decorated. The nearby beach isn't the greatest, and it may be best to travel to Playa de Arena Blanca or Playa Macao. The pool is nice and the security staff was great. The hotel across the street can be a bit noisy, but they shut down at midnight.

This location was great. 3 to 5 minute walk to beach, shops, restaurants, market. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Each of the host were gracious, friendly and very responsive. I wish I could have stayed longer. I loved it.

Large and nice penthouse in apartment building in small urbanization close to the beach. The terrace on the second floor is great for a nice party. BBQ present including all materials, which completed our party. We were received by the hosts wife, and the host himself past by in the evening. Great level of attention.

My party and myself enjoyed our stay at Vasiliy's place. Loved how close it was to the beach and to the markets and restaurants. Vasiliy was very helpful with making plans for activities and excursions, which took the stress off of who's the best or who to trust. House was clean and very spacious. Any questions or issues that came up Vasiliy responded right away and was happy to help.

El apartamento estaba impecablemente limpio y muy acogedor. Todo funciona a la perfección. Excelente relación calidad-precio. El trato del anfitrión fue de primera, en todo momento estuvo atento y pendiente de lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Sin lugar a duda volveremos a rentar en otro momento.

Our stay at the Penthouse was fantastic, we had a party of nine all ranging different ages including a toddler ( 2 year old). The house itself is very spacious and has plenty of space for everyone to pick a corner and enjoy some quiet time. The top floor was perfect for our younger crowd with entertainment and a hot tub. The greatest perks include a five minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to restaurants and small grocery stores. Everything is accessible, it is a central location which is always a must. Vasiliy and his team are great host very accommodating and very responsive to our questions and needs. We always felt well taken care of, he was able to set up our transportation to and from the airport and excursions while we were there. I highly encourage for those visiting NOT to exchange money at the airport and to wait until you get into town. Your money will be exchanged at a higher rate in town. Hopefully you decide to stay at Vasiliy's penthouse! We enjoyed our 9 days! Check out CocoBongo and Park Scape two thumbs up!!

You will not regret booking Vasiliy’s place. This place is just as wonderful as the photo’s show it to be. Vasiliy’s cousin checked us in. He does a quick run-through of the home and seems to be pretty knowledgeable about the area. The home is located on the 3rd floor of a 3-building fenced in area. There is a shared pool, but you probably won’t spend much time in it since you have the beach that is literally a minute walk away and a private (non-heated) Jacuzzi on the upper level. The upper level is beautiful. It’s very alive and is great for relaxing with some drinks and firing up the bbq. There is a speaker and a bar area up there, so it is easy to keep the party alive. All of the rooms are big and have closets. Most importantly, all of the rooms have A/C. We had people in all 3 rooms and ran the A/C from probably 9PM to 8AM over a 4 night stay. Our electricity bill came out to be $45. There is a Culligan Water dispenser (filtered water dispenser) in the kitchen, so you don’t have to worry about loading up on water bottles. Don’t drink the tap water. The two showers on the main level worked fantastically, we never used the upstairs shower. The kitchen has most of what you will need (including spices/cooking oil). You will be supplied with bath and beach towels. There is a washer and dryer if needed. The electrical sockets are the same as those in the United States. We saw 0 bugs other than a few mosquitos, which got into our house only because we left the patio doors open during the day, but there was literally less than 10 mosquitos that we saw. There is also a safe for any personal items that you want to lock away, though the area is fenced in with security at the doors. The place is a 5-minute walk to all of the restaurants, grocery stores, and gift shops. It’s a safe walk, we never felt threatened. You’ll be approached constantly by the taxi driver’s and people who will tell you they have everything, but just brush them off with a polite “no thank you” and you’ll be on your way. Citrus (Caribbean) was by far our favorite of the restaurants. There are 2 grocery stores that have a great selection. One thing we had trouble finding was meat. They have some fresh meat which seems a little sketchy and the frozen meat didn’t look very appealing. The gift shops you can bargain at… please don’t pay $30 for a $5 ring. All of the shops/restaurants/grocery stores accepted American dollars. The only negative comment I have is the transportation that we booked with Vasiliy. When we arrived at our airport, after waiting almost 30 minutes, our driver was no-where to be found. We ended up going with a taxi driver waiting outside of the airport. We paid $80 for...

Any future travelers, you're going to love the the penthouse top floor! Nice place to spend the day if you don't have the energy to go out. It's located in the heart of downtown and a 40second walk to the beach.

I just spent 5 days at Vasiliy's property and I had the best time ever! Vasiliy and Alex (his nephew) helped us plan everything- airport transportation, excursions, places to eat, places to shop. We just told them what we wanted and they made it happen. The house was extremely spacious and clean. The best part is the private roof top which is huge and has a view of the city. We were a 3 minute walk from a strip that had a market, restaurants, pharmacy, bars, etc. Best air bnb I've stayed at hands down! If any of my friends are visiting PC I would recommend them to stay at Vasiliy's for sure.
